mmm, green tea
We got these 69¢ teas at Nijiya in Little Tokyo last Friday and Ryo whispered 'what if it's so cheap because it's radioactive??' Sigh.
I can't wait to drink Saori green tea again in Japan! It tastes sooo good when it's ice cold from a vending machine.... Ahhh... It's like the taste of Japan for me.

goodbye collage cards
I'm the official card-maker at work.. I usually draw something but somehow this time it seemed easier to do collages.

water bottle
I got this bottle for free at work the other day. It's smaller than a regular 500 ml water bottle so it's not as heavy or big in my bag in the mornings. Plus it doesn't have one of those annoying tiny caps that, while it uses 30% less plastic, is 300% harder to unscrew. I need to work on my ellipses, the cap isn't really that tall....

Watermelon and grapes
Summer has arrived and I am inspired by a guest checking into the hotel today with a name no other than Danny Gregory.

ninja star birthday card
Yesterday I bought an x-acto knife at Blick to sharpen my colored pencils. It works great on Crayola ones but not on these 'create like crazy' (Target?) ones here at work. I really wanna do some watercolor messing-around but colored pencils aren't bad, are they? It's fun to mix them.

little temple on a hill
my boss wants me to draw a sunset in the background and frame it and give it to her, lol. what a sweet thing to say, especially just when I'm starting to think I don't have any talent for drawing after all. I never know quite how to make a finished drawing, though. I wish I could go back to school or take a class for that. Maybe the stacks of art books I get from the library can help with that.
I like how it took me three tries for the roof. :)
